Long Term Study For Kids With Migraines

Herbal Product for Migraine Headaches

Clinvest is currently recruiting volunteers with migraine headaches to participate in a research study testing a product containing feverfew to see if it relieves the pain and symptoms associated with migraine headaches. The study requires 2 visits to our clinic and using study product for up to 6 migraine headaches. Please consider enrolling in this study if you or your child:
> Are ages 12-60
> Experience an average 2-6 migraine headaches and no more than 15 headache days per month

Investigational Drug Study for People Suffering from COPD Email Contact

A new investigational drug is currently being tested to see if it safely and effectively reduces the number and severity of COPD exacerbations.

• Are age 40 or older
• Are a current of former smoker
• Have been treated with medication or hospitalized for worsening of symptoms at least once in the past year

Evaluating the Effectiveness of Early Acute Treatment vs. Preventive Treatment for Migraine Email Contact

Two Year Type 2 Diabetes Study Email Contact

Clinvest, in cooperation with Dr. Melinda Crockett-Maples of Marionville, is looking for volunteers ages 18-80 who have Type 2 diabetes, also known as adult onset diabetes, to participate in a medical research study.  The purpose of the study is to compare the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for diabetes plus metformin to glipizide plus metformin. Candidates must have been taking a stable dose of metformin for at least 2 months. If you qualify for and choose to participate in this study you will receive all study-related medical evaluations, study drug, metformin, glucometer, and test strips for 104 weeks.
