Roger K. Cady, MD

As a Family Practice physician, Dr Cady founded Headache Care Center in Springfield, MO, in 1995. He has fulfilled his vision of blending the hypotheses of a clinician with the thoughtful precision of a researcher to investigate those ideas with origins in a patient/physician setting.  Clinvest was founded in 1997.  Ideas incubated in the clinic frequently developed as pilot studies for much larger trials conducted by leading pharmaceutical companies.
He is best known in the medical community for his pivotal contributions in the field of headache and migraine management. Dr Cady is co-recipient of the prestigious Harold Wolff Award in 2000 for his research on the spectrum of primary headache in migraine sufferers. He has authored/co-authored numerous books, chapters, abstracts, and journal articles and serves on the advisory boards and speakers bureaus of leading pharmaceutical companies.

M.E. Beach, BS, LPN, CCRP   
Vice President, Clinvest Research Management

M.E. Beach has been part of the management team since the inception of Clinvest eleven years ago. Prior experience as a Clinical Research study coordinator, in combination with a personal dedication to the advancement of research and education for primary care physicians, contributes to the insight necessary to oversee the conduct of pharma-sponsored as well as investigator-initiated protocols.  Administrative duties include working closely with the project manager, leading operations meetings to coordinate team efforts and establish targets and goals to support efficiently run trials, development and negotiation of trial agreements and budgets, oversight of investigator training to assure uniform standards, and serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors.  M.E. has co-authored and edited various journal articles and presentations.  Her dedication to excellence and integrity sets the standard for the entire management team.

Jeanne Tarrasch, RN, BSN, CCRP 
Project Manager, Clinvest Research Management

Jeanne has over eight years of experience with Clinvest research assuming varied job responsibilities including study coordinator, Director of Clinical Research, and Research Management Research Associate.  She currently serves the Clinvest management team as a Project Manager.  Jeanne is involved in planning training programs to assure quality and uniform instruction is provided to investigators and coordinators.  Her contributions to project development result in quality protocols with study materials designed to efficiently meet study objectives.  She has served as a monitor providing reliable, accurate data collection and timely query resolution.  As Project Manager, she provides oversight to all aspects of Clinvest managed trials and works to maintain an efficient working alliance with investigators that span the country.

Becky Plumpe 
Research Assistant, Clinvest Research Management

Becky Plumpe serves as Clinvest Research Assistant. During her twelve years with Headache Care Center and Clinvest, she has cultivated an excellent working relationship with staff at the sites within the research network. Becky maintains the extensive database of investigators, oversees data entry and works with site staff to complete regulatory and IRB submissions.

Susie Brothers
Research Assistant, Clinvest Research Management

Susie has worked within the company for over nine years. In her current position as Clinvest Research Assistant with the research management group her primary role involves financial management for Clinvest research projects. In addition Susie serves as coordinator for site recruitment and performance tracking and has provided the attention to detail required in reviewing data collected.
