PRISM News Release Features Headache Care Center
Clinvest at Headache Care Center is one of 15 sites nationwide participating in the PRISM (Precision Implantable Stimulator for Migraine) clinical trial. The first subject in the United States to receive the implant was one of 15 patients enrolled by Clinvest. This study is a collaborative effort between Clinvest and Dr. Ben Lambert who implants the device. The news release quoted Dr. Roger Cady, the primary co-investigator, "If shown effective, this therapy will positively impact the lives of a large group of people with migraine who don't respond to conventional pharmacotherapies."

Satellite Research Program
Clinvest is pleased to announce the launch of its Satellite Research Network. This program allows us to form partnerships with selected physicians, practicing within a 50 mile radius of Springfield, MO, who share our interest in clinical research. The satellite physician serves as the Principal Investigator for the clinical trial and identifies study candidates from his or her practice. Research participants are seen for study visits at the satellite physician’s office. Clinvest’s experienced staff assists the physician with all aspects of the study, thereby removing the burden of additional staffing, overhead, space, paperwork, advertising, coordinating patients, and a myriad of operating details. Satellite physicians have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials with the freedom to focus on his or her patients and on providing good healthcare.
Physicians who are interested in learning more about the Clinvest Satellite Network may contact Debbie Milligan, Director of Clinical Research, at 417-841-3625 or dmilligan@clinvest.com.
